Samantha Williams is working to better the community, she just was nominated and awarded by Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce by the Lt Governor and other members of Commerce for her outstanding service to the community and BIPOC women entrepreneurs and business owners. She is currently the manager and person who built the Knownprenuers Growth Lab that I am currently a cohort in for minority business owners and entrepreneurs to take their initiative from idea to market. She is selflessly available.

Community Builder

Tell us about your community building activities in 2020?

In 2020, I worked as the Entrepreneur-In-Residence at the NHFPL. I provided consultations to business owners to help them start and grow their businesses. I facilitated business-focused training sessions for the local small business community. I design, created, and launched KNOWNpreneurs Growth Lab, which is a BIPOC-focused mentorship and training program for BIPOC business owners. I facilitate monthly training for minority women in business owners and professionals with CMWP.

What community building goals did you accomplish or milestones did you hit in 2020?

Mentoring over 30 Black women in business. Launched my coaching program, Melanated Business Coaching. Launched KNOWNpreneurs Growth Lab.
