Tell us about your community building activities in 2020?

In 2020, I launched Melanated Business Coaching, which is a business coaching program to support Black women business owners. I also began designing and building KNOWNpreneurs Growth Lab. This 16-week BIPOC-focused entrepreneurial training and mentorship program intentionally seeks to provide Black and BIPOC business owners with strategies needed to execute successful businesses. This program is taught by Black instructors and participants are paired with Black mentors.

What community building goals did you accomplish or milestones did you hit in 2020?

As the Founder and President of the Collaboration of Minority Women Professionals, I was able to grow our membership exponentially in 2020, taking our organization from local to international. Now, with over 90 members globally, we provide online, in-person, and digital support to amplify, support, and financially empower Black women.
