Tell us about your community building activities in 2020?

LambdaVision is an active company at the Technology Incubator Program in Farmington, CT. While 2020 was an unprecedented year with Covid-19, LambdaVision remained in close contact with the other TIP companies as we navigated issues like working remotely, the paycheck protection plan, and where to find personal protective equipment. We also used our 3D-printer to print personal protective equipment for front-line workers in hospitals.

What community building goals did you accomplish or milestones did you hit in 2020?

Beyond the work outlined above, Dr. Nicole Wagner has been active on a number of Boards, including the CT Technology Council and the New England Women in Science Executive Club. She participated in a number of panels, both scientific and business related, and has helped mentor students in the CT Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and ABCT programs. She has always been an active supporter and mentor for startups in CT.

Nominator Justification

Nicole is well known, successful entrepreneur. What maybe less well known i her entrepreneurial leadership support for other women entrepreneurs. She volunteers for multiple women's organizations as a mentor and regularly reaches out to speak at new organization events in support of entrepreneurship for women. I have seen as a member of the 2018 ABCT cohort her role sharing her knowledge and experience in a selfless and modest way inspiring other men and women to launch their businesses.
