onewith provides a smoothing, second-skin fit through a re-imagined method of creating swimwear that mimics the feel of seamless undergarments. In addition to feeling and fitting differently, onewith captures, in its aesthetics and detail, sun-soaked, nostalgic East Coast summers.

In March 2020, I was selected as one of ten startup founders to participate in UConn Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship + Innovation's Summer Fellowship. Upon completion of Summer Fellowship, I was chosen as a finalist to compete in UConn's Wolff New Venture Competition. Hayley Segar, founder of onewith, created her company with the goal to create a swimsuit that felt 'one with' a woman’s body. Hayley is a social media influencer with a large following of women and has worked in the bridal industry prior to her entrepreneurial journey beginning. She is passionate about helping women feel the confidence they deserve in their own skin. Hayley has participated in CCEI’s Summer Fellowship and pitched as a finalist for the 2020 Wolff New Venture Competition.
Hayley and I have been working together for over a year. She is a serial entrepreneur, coming to the Connecticut Small Business Development Center with both a mission and a dream, combined with unmatched determination and persistence. She has launched two businesses, one of which has investor interest. She serves as a mentor for programs affiliated with the UConn School of Business, has presented at HAYVN (coworking space in Darien, CT), and was a finalist for the Wolff Venture Competition.
