In January, my wife Deanne and I exited the market to focus on our newborn son, continuing education, and to have time to experiment with new product ideas. Having perfected our routine for bulk production of our standard slicing loaves, we finalized a menu and ingredients list that meets our standards for quality and taste. Mid-year we successfully completed our first patron-ready artisan loaves, and by the end of 2019 had produced our first Belgian waffles.
