Seasons Magazine

What people are saying about Jim Tully ...

Jim founded Seasons Magazines 15 years ago and has since grown the business to 7 award-winning magazines statewide. The high-quality, glossy, full color magazines are free and are focused on showcasing the communities they serve. In addition, Jim has always been an ardent supporter of local nonprofits.

Carol Latter

In recognition of 15 years in business for a small CT company, I'd like to nominate Jim Tully, owner of Seasons Magazines and Seasons Media. He provides a unique atmosphere for his creative team to do what they are best at; writing, photographing and/or designing. Jim continually volunteers and supports local nonprofits when ever possible and often gives them a voice though one or multiple magazines

Jim is celebrating his 15th year of owning and operating Seasons Media, a smalll, Connecticut based media company who produces high quality, direct mailed magazines. He consistently hires Connecticut-based freelancers and provides a unique opportunity for his creative team to do what they do best. They have won over SIXTY Connecticut Society of Professional Journalism Awards over the past four years making Seasons Magazines by far the most recognized magazine group in the entire state. He also started Connecticut's successful full-color, glossy LGBTQ magazine. He volunteers and supports many non profits including Autism Families, which he hold very close since his son has Autism.

At a time when Connecticut’s media landscape is increasing dominated by large, out-of-state conglomerates, Jim Tully’s commitment to keeping Seasons Media a locally owned - and thriving - company has not wavered. As the company enters its 15th year of publishing award-winning, high-end magazines, Tully has attracted some of the top writers, photographers and contributors in the state to his growing company. With Seasons, he has demonstrated a true entrepreneurial spirit, not only with his commitment to quality and hands-on leadership approach, but with his willingness to take risks. In 2019, when many print-media companies in the state were downsizing, Tully launched his newest publication: Connecticut VOICE, the state’s first high-end lifestyle magazine geared to LGBTQ individuals and their allies. He constantly strives to innovate and push boundaries, while remaining faithful to Seasons’ core mission and audience.
