Organization/institution description (<500 characters)

I have been assisting students and their parents navigate the college admissions process for the past 15 years. As a leader in the field, I have helped many students and their families begin this new chapter in their life with as little stress as possible. I work with many different students, and I know that each & every person is a unique individual. There is no "one size fits all". I look forward to helping future graduates reach their academic hopes and dreams. College Plan Advisors understands that selecting a college, the application process, financial aid, and admissions can be a very time consuming, overwhelming, and exhausting period in your life. College Plan Advisors will provide you with all the guidance and expertise to make the college transition run smoothly. There are many steps to be taken in order to achieve the goal of earning a degree, but none of them are impossible.

How do you train, educate or prepare entrepreneurs? (<500 characters)

I prepare entrepreneurs by having them reach deep in order to find their passion and purpose to move forward with. I give them the knowledge and the encouragement to stay true to their goals and dreams by putting together a workable yet realistic process for them to follow in order to make things happen. Life is always about learning so I use as many teaching moments as I can when I meet with students during their weekly visits or through online communication. I empower students to see their value in this world no matter what major they choose or career path. It's such an important process to master that I spend more time educating them before we even start an essay or application. Those one on one sessions are the eye to their future as well as to all of ours so patience and understanding is key. It's been an amazing journey so far and seeing my students who have finished their degree programs or technical school certificates and are now in a career that they are proud of, makes what I do more worthwhile with each and every student that has worked with me.

What impact did your program have in 2019? (<500 characters)

I was given the 2019 Gold Medal of Excellence Award for my book that came out in 2019 titled "Get That Degree But First You Need Stress Free College Planning" and I was truly humbled to receive that. I have given several presentations both in person and online and continue to receive accolades due to the positive impact that I have on others and their future well-being. As 2020 continues on, I intend to reach even more people through online communities, workshops, social media, and word of mouth. It's important for everyone who wants to attend college or some form of higher education a chance but without the huge stress and strain of it all. Our mission and impact that we want to have is the following: Students, we want you to enjoy your senior year of high school and not feel weighed down by college pressure. Parents, we want you to enjoy this process and not to feel exasperated by it all. After all, this is another transition in life, so let us help you get through it in a positive, drama free manner. We will be there for you every step of the way!
