I'm a cohort member of Clinton Global Initiative University, where I'll be working with a peer mentor toward finding solutions for the opioid crisis. I also worked as a Marketing/Promotion Intern for Human Services Council in Norwalk, CT where I helped them to raise awareness/funding for their mentorship program, among other things. The past couple of years I've also worked as a Business Development Intern for Alliance Technologies in CT.
Tell us about the entrepreneurial milestones you accomplished in 2019 (<500 characters) e.g., patents received, growth rate, and successful MVP, trial, or exit, etc…
In the past I was part of a program called The First Step Experience, where I worked toward finding the "first step" to solving the opioid crisis. I spent about a year researching locally in Delaware where I'm at school, and then ended up applying to be a cohort member at The Clinton Global Initiative University (CGIU). I was accepted into the program, and plan to spend the rest of the year further researching the opioid crisis with a peer mentor, along with attending the annual conference in Edinburgh, Scotland.
